I’ve been using a Kula Cloth for years now and absolutely love it! It’s not only good for the backcountry, it works great at home also. Saves tons of toilet paper so it’s good for the planet and trees. Thanks for the article, I learned why it’s important to pee on a durable, hard surface, rather than plants now and will do that going forward.

I gave Kula cloths to a few friends and family. I suggested they carry the Kula Cloth in their purse. I often go to a bathroom while I am out and there is no toilet paper. It is convenient to use the Kula cloth rather than hunt for a tissue. Fairs, festivals, etc have port-a-johns and run out of toilet paper. After folding the Kula cloth it can hang off their bag.
