My favorite part of the month was taking my kids to Hunter Farms in Union to get pumpkins, Olympic Mountain Ice Cream and a stop at Twanoh on the way home to look for spawning salmon.

This past weekend while volunteering as a Dolly Sods Wilderness Steward, I met a lady with a Kula Cloth attached to her pack. When I commented about her Kula Cloth she said it was her favorite piece of outdoor gear.

It was SO magical, and I'm so glad you were there. Seeing you pull out your Kula scarf was an absolute highlight for me. Can't wait to see you again soon!

I love the story about Jasper… especially since we have tamed and housed a feral cat outside our home for 10 years! His name is Dobby. He sleeps in a heated bed safe beneath our deck.

I’d love to send a photo.

Please send me a photo, I'd love to hear about it!! It's definitely been quite an experience, and I really hope we can crack Jasper's tough outer shell!

Wow! Your reference to S'Mores Pop-Tarts really brought me back to elementary school! Definitely the "superior" flavor haha (wonder if they changed the recipe?)… and October is also my favorite month, for similar birthday/weather reasons to you!

Yah, my recollection of Pop-Tarts as a kid was one of pure deliciousness. It's funny eating those things now and wondering... "HOW DID I ENJOY THIS?!". Haha! Happy Birthday Month!!
