Thanks for the reminder that ONE MINUTE is enough! 😻I often use the time excuse- I don't have enough time to settle into a meditation, so why bother at all? 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Yes! It doesn't take much at all -- even just a minute of finding a little it of stillness can change your energy enough that you become instantly open to new ideas and possibilities. It's pretty remarkable -- and yet most of us 'forget' to do it lol!

You promised and you DELIVERED! What a joy to read! My favorite was the sign announcing the lack of octopus. Maybe I’ll next see a sign that mushrooms are out of stock.

What was in your WAFFLESANDWICH?

I simply could not believe my eyes when I saw that sign -- it felt like an inside joke with the entire universe. It was hilarious... and btw I've continued to see Octopus references EVERWHERE lol!

My waffle sandwich was a bacon egg and cheese waffle sandwich with some garlic aioli -- it was perfection!! :)

Can't wait to hear where you mushrooms pop up next - lol!

This reminded me of the children's activity page where you have to find 10 things - anyone else remember those? Going on a hike, find a pinecone, a feather, a rock, a flower, a maple leaf etc.

We still play it more facetiously at concerts and events - Find a guy wearing the shirt of the band playing, find a couple on a first date, find a superfan dressed like the lead singer. At Pride one year a friend started a group chat so we could all meet up after the parade, but we all started playing, trying to be the first to see someone who looked like each of The Village People, and share a photo. Then someone saw Olivia Chow (then a minor politician, now mayor) glad handing a Drag Queen, a couple in doggie masks, a man with his penis out, a construction worker and a police officer. BINGO

This is playing the Kula Abundance Bingo.

Everyone wins! I haven't seen an octopus yet, and I hope to find some amethyst that isn't just the piece on my fridge magnet. And not only to I get to realize my own powers of attention, I get to think of all of us, all looking for a mushroom, an acorn, a lightning bolt, picturing each of you smiling when you see a pineapple.
